Original painting based on the painting expedition into the Nahanni Range, eastern Yukon. As autumn descends on the landscapes it also accidentally creates most amazing colour and shape contrasts. The foreground aspens turn yellow contrasting with endless miles of red mountain sides. Because of its northern locations, trees are dwarfed, giving them more individualistic and distinct character.
