Original painting based on the painting trip to Jasper National. Maligne Lake with Spirit Island with in its waters is one of the most iconic image of Canadian landscape. It was my goal to capture it in the dynamic light using a series of complementary contrast to illustrate the joy when we visit this special and sacred location.
