There is something extraordinary about the brief alpine summer in British Columbia. For only a few short weeks each year, the high mountain meadows burst into life, transforming into vibrant carpets of wildflowers beneath towering peaks.
Alpine Joy was inspired by my many hikes through these remote alpine landscapes. I wanted to capture not only their remarkable beauty, but also the energy, freshness, and sense of wonder that comes from standing among the wildflowers on a perfect summer day.
