Original painting was inspired by my expedition into the eastern Yukon toward the Nahanni Range, where vast marshes and wetlands stretch across the northern tundra. In this large studio work, I sought to capture the quiet immensity of this landscape—an environment that, at first glance, feels understated, yet reveals extraordinary beauty upon closer reflection.
