Original painting was inspired by painting trips through Northern Ontario and Killarney Provincial Park, a landscape I have returned to many times over the years.
I have always been fascinated by the ancient Precambrian rock formations that shape this part of Canada. In autumn, the rugged stone becomes surrounded by brilliant reds, oranges, yellows, and golds, creating wonderful contrasts of colour and texture throughout the landscape.
