Original painting was inspired by a September painting journey along the Top of the World Highway in western Yukon, west of Dawson City.
The highway follows high mountain ridges, often above the treeline, opening up spectacular views across the vast northern landscape. Travelling this road feels very different from driving through the valleys below—the horizon seems endless, with rolling mountains and open tundra stretching far into the distance toward Alaska.
